Godmersham Park Heritage Centre
About us
The inspiration of John Sunley and Prof Alf Smyth, Godmersham Park Heritage Centre is housed in a former granary, neighbouring the magnificent 14th Century Great Barn, the Centre opened in 2008 to act as a museum to the parishes of Godmersham and Crundale. Though relatively small, it houses a good exhibition space, a collection of books, maps, pictures, photographs and archaeological material, all of which may be consulted by the public on request. Material relating to local history and bygone everyday life in the villages is welcomed at the Centre
